About Floresta Cacao
Born in the quiet northern mountains, Floresta Cacao began as a relationship with land. This is where the story, lineage, and medicine of this ceremonial cacao truly began.
A Life Rooted in Cacao & the Northern Forests
Ceremony, lineage, and the quiet rhythm of the northern Thai forests.
Floresta Cacao was born in the mountains north of Chiang Mai; a landscape of waterfalls, hidden forest paths, soft morning mist, and the quiet hum of ancient trees.
This land holds a frequency that is gentle, grounded, and deeply feminine. It is here that I first felt cacao as a presence: a plant-being with her own voice, memory, and medicine.
Floresta Cacao - from people, land, and lineage | Crafted by a Lisu family who honour traditional preparation, each batch is created with intention and care. I simply carry their work forward, sharing cacao that is alive, relational, and held in devotion.
A Cacao with a Living Lineage
I lived in northern Thailand for years, immersed in the jungle, tending ritual and story.
During this time, I met the Lisu family who now craft and tend the cacao I share with you with care.
What began as a meeting grew into a relationship, a shared offering built on reciprocity, trust, and the desire to protect something sacred from becoming lost in modern commerce.
My role is simple:
• to steward this cacao,
• to honour its lineage,
• to keep its preparation traditional,
• and to share it with the same softness and integrity with which it was given to me.
Every batch arrives to me directly from the mountains. Every bar is blessed, packaged, and then sent to you.
Floresta Cacao is not industrial ceremonial cacao. It is cacao grown through relationship, reciprocity, and devotion; harvested with care, crafted with intention, and shared as a living medicine.
Floresta Cacao is simply the bridge. A way to support their craft, honour their lineage, and carry the quiet frequency of the northern jungles outward with integrity.
A soft, awakening ceremonial cacao with tasting notes shaped by season, sunlight, and women-led lineage.
The Spirit of Floresta Cacao
Our cacao is gentle but deep - soft but awakening.
She opens slowly, like forest light at dawn. Tasting notes shift naturally with season and sunlight,
You may sense:
• soft florals
• stone fruit brightness
• warm earth
• subtle sweetness
• a quiet, steady heart-opening
She is a cacao of return.
A cacao for ritual, for breath, for presence.
A cacao shaped by women, lineage, and forest.
A sister offering | Hand-illustrated story letters for children and families, rooted in nature, ritual, and slow, gentle living
My Other Work: Otto & Bear’s Letters
Alongside Floresta Cacao, I tend another offering:
Otto & Bear’s Letters | a gentle storytelling space for children and families, also seeded in northern mountains of Thailand.
It is a collection of hand-illustrated monthly story letters that weave nature, imagination, and slow childhood rhythms into soft moments of wonder and belonging.
Both offerings, ceremonial cacao and story, are rooted in the same intention: to bring people home to softness, presence, and connection.

For choosing cacao crafted slowly, with love and lineage. For supporting a family in the mountains.
For supporting a small, heart-led business
and for choosing ritual in a world that asks you to rush.
May this cacao meet you softly.May she open something tender.May she bring you home.
